Weather Protection

Being a totally natural product, a cape reed thatch roof will allow any trapped heat or moisture to escape due to its ability to breath. Cape reed tiles provide 100% UV protection and are 99.9% waterproof. For an added level of weather protection we offer a range of accessories including canvas roof linings and side panels. All weather protection products are hand made specifically for use with our thatched structures.

Canvas Roof Linings:

All our canvas roof linings specifically manufactured for use with our metal tubular roof canopies and gazebos.

Canvas Side Panels:

These heavy duty canvas side panels are made from rot resistant, waterproof canvas. Designed to roll up to the roof rail when not in use.

Canvas Side Panel Roof Ties:

The canvas panel ties are fully adjustable and are used to keep the canvas side panels neatly rolled.

Canvas Side Panel Ball Bungee Ties:

Canvas roof linings, side panels and ties are currently only available in a sand colour. We believe this sand colour blends in perfectly with the cape reed thatch tiles and timber framework.
